Summary
Four men from New England become very close friends in college. After college, they separate and go their own waysbut meet again in the Navy, as sailors. From sailors, they manage to become officers and fighter pilots. They are able to form their own wing known as the Tigers of the Air.? The Tigers are sent to England to help the British learn how to fly in actual combat. While there, they manage to pull off a few tricks of their own against the enemy. Later on, they are put on a carrier and sent to the Pacific to fight. One by one they are killed, until only one man is left to come home
